So you want to know more about the Portal, huh?
Well lets start off with the reason for it:
It's there so that members can see some recent things get help, it's like the Forum in one Compact Spot. It gives some of the latest polls or latest topics and what members are on etc.
If you don't know how to go to the Page were all the Forum part is then you need to click the Button Home, but you knew that didn't you?

/ has been disabled... So don't try to look for the portal button X)
The thing is that this site is not yet populated enough in order for it to require such a module... and it really pisses me off to press the "home button" each time i come to this site... XD
