anime video games

Post by Uriko on Mon Dec 31, 2007 11:11 am

OK, who has ever played an anime video game?? which one was it & how much did you enjoy it???

the only anime video game that i have ever played [that i am aware is from an anime, at least] is naruto. i forget which one. but i was out doing missions & stuff & i was kinda upset that there was no free roaming. v_v so i give it a score of 5/10.

I've played 2 of the Naruto games and they were the Uzamaki Cronicals. The first onIwould give an 8/10 but the second one maybe a 5/10

God of War 2 is a little bit better action wise and some puzzles and bigger weapons. I won'tshow picture but the new weapons are pretty awsome.
God of War so damn good puzzles.
They Both Get a 10/10 from my vote.

I've been looking into trying out the Hack:// games, but I'm not sure if they are any good.

As for Naruto I've played all the Clash of the Ninja's except for the wii one...which I want to get.

as a fellow gamer i sugest u stay away from the dot hack series i finally tracked all of them down becuase real gamers dont find there games on ebay they have to look for them kinda like there treasure makes playing it worthwhile any way .hack has 4 games total then it goes into the recent games .hack um GU is what the new series is called and those have 4 more games so the entire collection is 8 games.. hack is an mmorpg simulator u play through the game and play through the story line and get more characters to join ur party but .it has good gameplay like it has a trading system like a flee market u can bargin for items sometimes rare stuff and do quests that get u cool stuff ur main menu looks like a futureistic pc u even have email that the characters in the game send u messages and even have conversations(even though the conversations dont go into much depth and they talk to u about japanese culture the game itself lacks in some key areas.First the ememies get repetitive and they change there color well at least in the first two games and more detailed and more monsters com elater in the series when u enter the dunguen u have to kill all the monsters in the room in order to proceed to the next(trust me this gets really annoying).Second if u jump into the dunguens without items consider urself dead the game is very hard and if u die in the dunguen u have to start from ur last savepoint and trust me it takes a long time to complete a dunguen.Lastly the AI 4 the game kinda lacks the enimies r smart and ur team mates arnt so u have to manually tell them what to do so it spoils the whole mmorpg feeling and tosses it out the window.Overall if ur a big fan of the show id suggest finding someone who has it and borrow it from them it takes about 30 hours to beat each game and thats just the main game no treasure hunting 4 me so the whle game will take about 120 hours of game time the cool thing is that u can transfer all ur data to the next game so all ur efforts of finding rare items dont go to waste in my personal opinion id give it a 7/10 and i liked the show a bit so id sugest to check out some other reviews other than this one to get a better feel for the game. Oh by the way people tell me that hte GU series is better than the old series that i played so check that out as well and i hope i got some questions answered.

heheheh..... im the type that looks on games based on other forms on motion pictures to be extremely dumb. to put it simple... im very picky with my games and when i see something like that i cant help but think that all the game is there for is to make money at no regard to the players enjoyment (ever played a superman game?)
